Maintenance

This was simply a "get out and move" morning; nothing to see here, really.  Thirty minutes at 50%. Ended up with 2 miles of volume, and a heart rate that never raised very much. Just a brisk walk.

The idea behind this is to enable active recovery. I could stay home and drink a second cup of coffee, and I've done that often enough. But what I'm trying to do is to stretch, to move, to get a little sweat working. The idea is NOT to work hard, to get out of breath, or to exhaust. In fact, the idea is NOT to work.

Plus, if you do it at 5 a.m., on a dark track, in the fog, there is just a hint of intrigue. It's not that hard to imagine . . . danger.

Nothing dangerous about this morning, though.
